Nair realised, conceptualised and established the GUN (Global University Network) with Institutions in PR China, Malaysia and India. GUN has PIV (Partners in Vision) in PR China, USA, UK, Malaysia and in India.

In progressing towards the GUN vision, Nair was appointed by the Chamber of Commerce in Tianjin to advise/consult on corporate matters over and above the education vertical. Nair architected various trade visits to and from USA, UK, Malaysia and India for business/trade exploration. Nair also spearheaded a CMI (China.Malaysia.India) axis with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tianjin, China, Madras Chamber of Commerce, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India and the Biotechnology Corporation of Malaysia, Ministry of Science and Technology Malaysia. He organised a platform to bring these CMI members together for cooperation and collaboration forum in Tianjin, Chennai and in Kuala Lumpur in 2011 - 2013.

Nair Founded and Launched the New Optima International College in Kuala Lumpur, with the GUN as the platform in 2013. A sick college with less than 30 students and one Diploma programme in 2013 was scaled up to about 20 programmes with a 4+0 USA Degree programme, secured international students recruitment licence and HRDF approved training provider within 3 years. Established industry and institutional partners in China, India, Malaysia, USA and UK for internship and academic pathway.

Nair has been involved in academia for more than 36 years. He was a key mover and the implementer in a number of education related projects. Nair was the founding consultant of a large Nursing and Allied Health College and Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of the International University College of Nursing, the First Nursing University in the World. These institutions were established in Malaysia with the latter having an extensive international link.

Awarded as one of the top Eight innovative females in China for innovation in the field of education, November 6, 2010. The event spotlighted the Girl 2.0, aspirational figures chosen via a national new media search for China’s most innovative female.

Michelle was an outstanding undergraduate student and class topper in the MBA programme, and emerged as the youngest top student in the MBA class. Her English language competency has attracted many MNCs in China to engage her as a corporate communications consultant and as an international strategist for large homegrown companies in China seeking international exposure and collaboration. In 2008 she was engaged by a visionary Mr. Zhang to establish a private University in Tianjin, China. Prior to this, she was also a Business Communication/Strategic Marketing/ Business Ethic Instructor at the continuous learning school of Nankai University and a Business communication/Culture difference lecturer for the IMBA students at Tianjin University of Finance and Economics, Head Trainer of Patrol China, Tianjin, Consultant for Shanghai M&G Stationary Inc, a company based in Korea and also a Writer—World of Management, World of Chinese (Commercial Publishing House), China. Apart from the above, she has extensive corporate work experience in France, Malaysia, the UK and the U.S.

Due to her international exposure and training background, the Committee for Research in Lifelong Education, Institute for Educational Development Strategies, PR China, invited her and appointed her the Deputy Director for Lifelong Learning.

Raj has been lecturing English language to university undergraduates and postgraduates to help improve their language proficiency and academic language for the past 26 years. He is passionate about teaching English and believes in getting his students to equally passionate about learning English. He strongly believes that it is important for the teaching and learning of English to be fun. He endeavours to make his classes as creative and innovative as possible to make learning as enjoyable as possible for the students. He has taught students English for Specific Purposes (ESP), English Occupational Purposes (EOP) and English for Academic Purposes (EAP). He began his teaching career in University Technology Mara in 1988 and has been teaching there since. He has experience teaching English in different and challenging environments in various disciplines such as in the Faculty of Law, Faculty of Accounting, Faculty of Mass Communication, Faculty of Allied Sciences and Faculty of Medicine in University Technology Mara. He has extensive experience in syllabus design, curriculum development, test design and remedial teaching in the university. He has served in various capacities in administrative positions at the university. He is currently working on a Ph.D. in the area of metacognitive strategies.

Dr. Moganadass Ramalingam, Ph.D. is a dedicated University lecturer with over 25 years of tertiary education experience, teaching in diverse international classroom environments. More than 5 years of experience in the World Bank project under the Bangladesh College Education Development Project (BCEDP) conducting Master in Education and training programmes for Bangladesh’s Higher Education sector to help them develop the essential skills to succeed in a competitive environment, including teaching in hybrid (face-to-face and online) classroom environments. Over 9 years of senior-level professional management experience at University College and college. Over 16 years of professional experience in IT, with five years of professional experience in the IT Industry as an application developer and three years as an IT Manager. Managed IT projects (IT infra design, hardware and software implementation) for four branch campuses. Project Manager for a University Management System, which was developed for six institutions. Pioneered in customising and implemented Moodle successfully for online learning at colleges and university college. Developed SOP and ISO documentation for the IT Department for ISO 9001:2000 and was certified as an internal auditor to maintain quality. Research interests include mobile learning, personalised m-learning, learning technology, and instructional design.

Dr. Moganadass is a dedicated member of the senior management team and very passionate about the work he undertakes. He is meticulous and very reliable in ensuring timely delivery and follow through of projects under his purview. He has an eye for details.
