On 30th October 2023, MPM received guest from Singlebridge Edusolutions Sdn. Bhd. for the signing of MOU with MPM. The CEO of MPM Tuan Adnan bin Husin signed the MOU on behalf of MPM at the Bilik Mesyuarat Utama of MPM Malaysia. Singlebridge was represented by Mr. Vijaya Kumaran K.K.Nair and Ms. Zhong Yi.
New Optima International College was launched in Kuala Lumpur, with the GUN as the platform in 2013. A sick college with less than 30 students and one Diploma programme in 2013 was scaled up to about 20 programmes with a 4+0 USA Degree programme, secured international students recruitment licence and HRDF approved training provider within 3 years. Established industry and institutional partners in China, India, Malaysia, USA and UK for internship and academic pathway. Promotion works of the said College were carried out in India, Pakistan, China, Inner Mongolia, Indonesia, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Africa, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan.
The First Nursing University in the World. Nair was the founding consultant of a large Nursing and Allied Health College and Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of the International University College of Nursing, the First Nursing University in the World. These institutions were established in Malaysia with the latter having an extensive international link. The University was established to offer pre university till post doctorate qualifications in nursing science. A speciality University.
The GUN (Global University Network) was established with Institutions in PR China, Malaysia and India. GUN has PIV (Partners in Vision) in PR China, USA, UK, Malaysia and India.
In progressing towards the GUN vision, Nair was appointed by the Chamber of Commerce in Tianjin to advise/consult on corporate matters over and above the education vertical. Nair architected various trade visits to and from the USA, UK, Malaysia and India for business/trade exploration. Nair also spearheaded a CMI (China.Malaysia.India) axis with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tianjin, China, Madras Chamber of Commerce, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India and the Biotechnology Corporation of Malaysia, Ministry of Science and Technology Malaysia. He organised a platform to bring these CMI members together for a cooperation and collaboration forum in Tianjin, Chennai and in Kuala Lumpur in 2011 - 2013.
Mr. Nair was also a World Bank consultant to draw up the IT Road Map for the Bangladesh Government. The Project involved working with the Bangladesh Computer Council to develop skilled human capital particularly the development and delivery of training of government officials in ICT.
